Better Solutions-Faster Response

Overview
When a large general contractor began to consider their options for some of the ageing kitchen floors they were contacted to replace they started to think of some “out of the box” solutions.  After contacting a local industrial coatings contractor they realized the polyureas may be the answer they were looking for.  Since the kitchens in Casinos are some of the busiest kitchens in the world it was important that they minimize their down time and have it completed in time for  kitchen to be serving dinner that same evening the project started.        
Description
When first considering some of the critical issues that kitchens deal with at first it seems that polyureas would not be the answer after all.  But after contacting The Flanagan Corporation and understanding the customizing that is available with today’s polyureas they were again believers in the polyureas.  
The Flanagan Corporation worked with the local contractor to customize and address both the products used as well as the application to meet the generals and the Las Vegas Health Departments requirements.  Among these included fire testing, anit-skid, cleaning, and stain resistance from produce like tomatoes and not to mention aesthetics.  Also, did we forget to mention UV stable, applied over existing old floors and completed within 10 hours start to finish and have the same look as the current tile floor?
Result
Using a combination of experience from other foot traffic applications, The Flanagan Corporation was able to meet all their requirements.  After 3 months of evaluations from the Las Vegas Health Department the floor was given the green light as a qualified kitchen floor system for all Casinos in Nevada.
